It is very easy just to go to church each Sunday, sing some worship songs, say some prayers and listen to a sermon without really understanding what the church is and what it is supposed to be.
Whatever your experience of church is, it is important to understand God's plan for the church and what is happening globally. Is prayer just something you do once a week with your hands together and your eyes closed? Do you have to whisper and use special words? Or can it be loud and informal?
Does worship always involve someone playing the guitar while you stand and sing nice, happy songs with a bunch of other people? Or can worship be honest and personal and not involve guitars at all?
